What Can You Do with Your Land?

Spring has officially sprung here in Michigan, and as we’re moving into camping season, we wanted to share a few EO updates.

The Electric Outdoors team is growing

We recently moved into a new manufacturing space in downtown Detroit (more on this soon!), and as part of the next growth phase we’ve onboarded several new team members. And to add to the excitement, next week we’re welcoming four new interns to the EO team.

Beverly, Madison, Yogesh, and Elina will be helping us with everything from strategy and operations to engineering and marketing. We’re very excited to have them join us for the summer and get some hands-on experience in our fast and fun startup environment.

Meet the people behind the product

Speaking of the EO team, if you’re looking to learn more about the people behind the product, we’ve just launched a new series on the (freshly revamped!) EO blog where you can get to know us a little better. First up is an interview with Josef Hjelmaker, our CEO and founder. Josef shares what inspires him, what surprises people the most about our technology, and where in the world he’d like to see the next EO Canopy.

Looking to unlock your land for eco-tourism?

Are you a landowner? Do you want to open up your land to welcome sustainably-minded campers? You’re not alone. Remote, off-grid camping is just getting more popular, but building traditional campground infrastructure comes with challenges: economic, environmental—not to mention having to go through permitting and approval processes. We’re solving for these issues with the EO Canopy. If you want to learn more about what getting into outdoor hospitality can look like for you, check out our latest blog post.

Thank you for your support on this journey, and as always—reach out with any questions or comments!
